Hepatitis B vaccination clinics for employees exposed to blood-borne illness. OSHA regulations require all employers of employees exposed to blood-borne illness to provide a complete hepatitis B series to prevent infection. Some groups include healthcare workers, certain school personnel, mortuary workers, sanitation workers, custodians, and law enforcement personnel.
Meningitis shots for college students aren't just a good idea, they're the law. In Texas, prior to entering college, students are now required to receive a meningitis vaccination. We can set up clinics at college campuses to facilitate the inoculation of mass-student populations.
Tuberculosis skin testing for future high school health professionals. Students in high schools wishing to study health careers are required to obtain certain vaccinations and tests prior to entering the clinical setting. TB (PPD) skin tests are needed to determine if the student has had prior exposure to the tuberculosis bacterium.
