Leisure Travelers may not realize the risks that threaten them in beautiful third-world settings. Parasites, crime, injuries, and exotic diseases may await the uninformed traveler. 

Adventure Seekers are often the highest at-risk travelers. Scuba divers, trekkers, mountaineers, and kayakers are just a few examples of travelers at a very high risk. 

Expatriates often return home not realizing the dangers that have developed in their absence. Many travels who once had immunity to malaria return home to find that they are now susceptible to this deadly disease. 

Visiting Friends and Relatives can be a deadly proposition to the ill-informed traveler. Political unrest, crime, diseases, and many other dangers may await those  who fail to become properly informed and protected.
